Personal Branding

Personal Branding 2015

This was my original branding for my maiden name (Koch). The idea behind everything stemmed from the blue ribbon, and the saying that if you tie a ribbon to your finger, you won’t forget about something - so don’t forget about me!

I interpret my new logo to be an updated version of the MK. Still together, but stronger and more grounded - not needing the ribbon to hold it together anymore, which to me shows confidence.

Featured above is my previous logo, website, resume, and business card.

DHHS Lancaster Responsive Website Mockup

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS) website is based off of a hearing services building located in Lancaster County, PA. My re-design of the website (not live) is responsive, ADA friendly, simple and easy to find what people are looking for.

Working with responsive web design, I learned how to use Media Queries which allow the website to adapt to different platforms such as desktop, tablet and mobile devices. The functionality of each platform changes with main navigation, hover states, and headings.

The home page shows the three services that DHHS offers and allows viewers to click on the icons which takes them to the corresponding page where more information is located.

This comical “murder” talks about suspects and what steps were taken to solve the crime and figure out who murdered Print Design, and why.

 Original print size: 16'x20'

Self Authorship Book

It all begins with an idea.

If The Shoe Fits

Completely self-authored from photography to content, to layout, I decided to design a book pertaining to women and their shoes. Favorite types of shoes and how they make women feel. The normal assumption is that women own an intimidating amount of shoes, and from conducting my interviews, I found this to be accurate in most cases.
